Job description Coaching Co-Ordinator 

Core Objective: To coach and develop the cricket teams within the Bethlehem College Cricket Club 

Reports to: Bethlehem College Cricket Club Committee 
Key Responsibilities:

 Put together a coaching plan and program for the Club and present to the Committee for sign off
 Implement the signed off plan  Organise and run trials at the beginning of each season and select players based on appropriate ability (in consultation with Committee before signing off teams)
 Along with the Committee, liaise with parents to ensure every team has a Saturday coach/ manager  Develop player plans and focuses for the senior teams (1st XI; 2nd XI & Intermediate)
 Ensure Primary kids aged Year 2-6 are encouraged and fostered   Ensure BCC players who demonstrate specific talent are nurtured and encouraged for opportunities outside of their normal BCC team (e.g. representative cricket)
 Actively be engaged with WBOP and other appropriate associations to ensure all opportunities for BCC teams/players to be exposed to regional, national and international tournaments are maximised
 Attend all Committee Meetings providing progress reports on players/ teams  Ensure your behaviour at all times reflects the values held by Bethlehem College:  o The Code of Character must be signed 

Key Skill Sets Required: -
A love and passion for cricket combined with an ability to develop key cricketing skills
- Excellent communication
- Ability to relate to kids off all ages - Ability to co-ordinate and secure parent support
- Ability to display a character and demeanour in line with the expectations of the code of character of Bethlehem College 

Hours of work/ Availability:

We anticipate on average you will be required to attend 120 sessions of cricket training, made up of 60 sessions in each of Term 1 and 4 (Dates TBC in your contract).
Training sessions will be run during the week. You may be required to on occasion provide support over and above these sessions.
The role will not require any provision of your service on weekends.
