High profile Major Association in New Zealand
Contracted, part-time role

The Northern Districts Cricket Association, the largest Association in New Zealand, is seeking the services of an ambitious, dedicated and talented Head Coach for its elite female team, the Northern Spirit.

The candidate may or may not have had experience as a coach or player at the highest level. They must however have an unquenchable thirst for success, have experience in coaching or leading successful cricket teams, and have well-developed communication skills that allow engagement with a wide demographic.

Our coach must have a high level of technical and tactical expertise, and the ability to manage female staff and female players. The ability to create a solid and enjoyable team environment is a priority.

The successful candidate will understand the specific challenges that we face, most specifically the bringing together and up-skilling of talent from the huge geographical region that makes up our Association.

We are also very interested in securing a coach that has a genuine desire to see women’s cricket develop and grow within our Districts.
